What are your characters most prominent physical features?

Tex prides himself with his hair. He doesn’t obsesses over his looks, not any more than any male would, but he does take a few minutes each morning to ensure he looks presentable. He admittedly uses some product to create that “just woke up” look, hair a bit scuffy yet looks good. Having a bit of facial hair also doesn’t go amis, so he makes sure to give himself a bit of stubble.

What might those things be, lovely Texacana?

Anything and everything. One thought trails to another, and then it’s 3am and I’m trying to understand how a plane can fly without crashing.

You feeling alright, kid?

Of course, my dear Col. Just tired. Too many things running through the brain.

Describe your character’s relationship with their mother or their father, or both. Was it good? Bad? Were they spoiled rotten, ignored? Do they still get along now, or no?

Tex always got along great with his parents. He was a daddy’s boy growing up, then a mommy’s boy during his teen years. After the shooting, he relied on them for years and although things were hard to deal with, they were close.

His parents were a constant support system and he knew he could rely on them at all times for anything he needed, and his parents knew exactly what he needed when he wouldn’t, or couldn’t, say it out loud.

Even after he’d recovered and was going in and out of clinics, or coming to and from home, they were there to support him. If he didn’t want to go home, or he wanted to have a week to himself, they wouldn’t argue and let him do what he thought was right.

While at Preston, Tex has stayed in close contact with them, updating them on how his therapy is going, and they’d update him on what’s going on in their lives.

This requires my mind to stop whirring for more than ten seconds.

Do something so excruciatingly boring that your brain would rather sleep than continue?

Hi! What are you doing here? I mean… Why are you here? When did you get here?

image

I got here about a week or two ago, and I’m here because I’m still not capable of being out doing “real life” things. I tried, but I couldn’t handle it, so back here I am.

A lack of sleep.

That’s no fun, especially after you’ve passed delirium and you’re just exhausted. Hope you get some sleep soon.
